Ford Farms Beef

Ford Farms is a certified organic crop farm. We have been certified since 1988. We feed our small beef herd the forages and grain we produce on our farm. Our calves are born on certified organic pastures and finished on organic alfalfa hay and small amounts of organic corn. We do not use antibiotics or artificial growth hormones to aide in the growth of our animals. We are a family owned and operated farm, running 20 cows near Berkey Ohio. Our beef is processed at Hillsdale County Meats. They are a USDA inspected processor. Pieces are vacuum sealed with a printed label indicating weight and name of cut. While our herd is not certified we employ many of the practices that the organic standard has set.
