How do I sign up as a consumer member?

It is easy. First, simply read the Consumer Terms of Service and the Consumer Membership Agreement and Application. The Consumer Membership Registration is $12 for the year for convenient access to amazing local foods. You may pay your membership fee as a market item in our The Market section.

Are there membership fees?

Yes, we ask that you pay an annual fee of $12 for consumers, $50 for producers, per household for one calendar year.

How do I order?

Each Monday of the order cycle, a list of available products is posted on the website. Customers must place their order for the week no later than Monday a week later by 12:00 a.m. Orders can be placed here on our website. Ordering through this web site is our preferred method as it is designed to reduce the amount of time it takes us to process orders as well as provide you with detailed information about our products.

When do I pay?

We accept money orders or checks when you pick up your order or you may pay online in advance using PayPal or credit card and bring your receipt to your pickup point.

When and Where do I pick up my order?

Orders will be available for pickup on the second and fourth Wednesday of each Month at pre-arranged pickup points nearest you.

Will I have to buy vegetables I don't want?

Unlike some co-ops, buying clubs, or CSAs where everyone gets the same box of stuff (and you don’t know what you’re getting until you get it), with Black Swamp Local Food & Farm Coop you get to order what you want, in the quantities that you want, from the farms that you want. The bi-monthly email lists the produce, milled products, fresh flowers, and artisan goods available that week, and you can browse the items on this website before you place your order. Items left in your online cart will become your order

How can I sell through this market?

If you’ve already created a customer account here, simply go to Our Growers and click on ‘Join this Market’. This will add you to our system. Then download a Producer Application Form and submit it to the proper address for approval.

Specific Grower Operating Procedures should be read by each producer. By opening a Grower Account you agree to abide by the operating procedures.

We do charge a yearly fee of $50 as well as 10% of your overall sales.
